Under the FDCPA, Commonground may not:


 contact a debtor who has notified the agency in writing to make no further contact.
 directly contact a debtor who is represented by an attorney.
 call before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
 use threats or obscene or abusive language.
 imply they are attorneys or government representatives if they are not.
 use a false name.
 make false, deceptive, or misleading statements.
 contact debtors at work if employers prohibit this.
 contact acquaintances other than to locate debtor.
 tell acquaintances the consumer is in debt.
