There are two different forms of cyclooxygenase (COX). One form (COX-1) promotes the synthesis of prostaglandins that protect the gastric mucosa from the harmful effects of gastric acid.
 
  The other form (COX-2) promotes the synthesis of prostaglandins that function as mediators of inflammation. Indicate whether the statement is true or false
