Answer to Question 1

ANS: B
Increased release of cortisol leads to increased gastric secretions, and therefore an increased in-cidence of gastric ulcers. Hypertension is a result of increased cortisol. The increase of gastric se-cretions causes lipolysis, not lipogenesis.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
Catecholamine release results in elevated blood pressure as a result of vasoconstriction. Cate-cholamine release results in increased blood flow to the brain and increased glucose production. Catecholamine release results in increased muscle contraction.
