In Choice b, too few neutrophils and lymphocytes are seen, as well as too many of the other cell types. Choice c has too many basophils, too few lymphocytes, and too many monocytes. Choice d has too many bands and too few lymphocytes.

If the specimen can be seen under both 10 and 40 but not under 100, it most likely is upside down on the stage.
