Only interleukin, of those listed, is a hematopoietic growth factor. The rest are cells found in the bone marrow. Actually several interleukins exist, each of which has a number (IL-1, IL-3, IL-6), that can affect various hematopoietic cells. In addition, other cytokines (e.g., erythropoietin, thrombopoietin) affect blood cell production.
