Transudate: by fluid accumulation as a result of systemic disease
Exudate: by fluid accumulation as a result of localized pathology
Chylous fluid: leakage of lymphatic vessels, typically seen in malignancy and/or trauma

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Their presence could indicate active infection or possible contamination from reagents used during analysis. Further confirmation is needed to rule out either.
