Answer: IgG: monomer with two heavy and two light chains; main antibody produced in many illnesses.
IgM: pentamer with five monomeric proteins. First antibody produced in immature B cell.
IgD: Second antibody produced in maturing B cell; similar in structure to IgG. IgA: Third antibody produced in maturing B cell; similar in structure to IgG.
IgE: Found exclusively in tissue and mucosal secretions; interacts with basophils. Involved in hypersensitivity reactions; similar in structure to IgG
