Answer to Question 1

When translation services are needed, offices should keep interpreters' telephone numbers at the front desk. When using a translator, the medical assistant must document the name and contact information of the translator in the patient's chart

Answer to Question 2

The medical assistant should avoid using any slang terms or phrases.
