How well do you think a manager who forms friendships with his staff would do if he had to have a conversation with employees about theft in the office? What suggestions would you make for this type of manager before he has this conversation?

A medical office manager may have a difficult time having performance conversations of any kind with an employee who is a considered a friend. This can make conversations awkward for the manager as well as the employee. The manager can avoid this by treating all employees the same, without showing any favoritism for one.
