Answer to Question 1

A patient may be denied insurance, or may not be offered employment, if information is disclosed improperly. The medical office manager must be sure all members of the medical office are properly trained on the proper disclosure of medical information to keep improper disclosures from happening.

The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
