Answer to Question 1

C
Glomerulonephritis is primarily seen in children and young adults, and affects males more often than females. It most commonly occurs about 2 to 3 weeks after a group A beta-hemolytic strep-tococcal infection, such as strep throat or impetigo; however, it can occur in response to bac-terial, viral, or parasitic infections elsewhere in the body. It is an immunologic problem caused by an antigen-antibody reaction. International travel and unprotected sexual activity are not causative agents for glomerulonephritis. While recent cipro therapy does indicate a recent bac-terial infection, it does not cause glomerulonephritis.

Answer to Question 2

B
Seeing flashing colored lights is an early warning symptom of retinal detachment.
