Question 2

The patient with osteoporosis calls the nurse in the doctor's office to report that she should have taken but has forgotten to take her weekly bisphosphonate (alendronate Fosamax) that was due 2 days ago.

If 2 or more days have passed since the regular dose time, this week's dose should be skipped and the weekly schedule should be picked up next week.
