Symptoms include a high fever, a diffuse rash, falling blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, myalgia, disorientation, and coma. Herpes simplex virus usually results in a genital sore or ulcer. The human papillomavirus is associated with genital warts. Pelvic inflammatory disease is an inflammatory condition of the female pelvic organs.

Management of the client diagnosed with renal vein thrombosis includes corticosteroids, anticoagulants, and surgical removal of the thrombi. Nephrectomy, antihypertensives, and antibiotics are not indicated in the treatment of this disorder.
