Remove the patient's clothing before treatment, and apply new clothing after treatment. Repeat treatment according to product directions. Check the hair for nits, and comb with a nit comb for 2 to 3 days until you are sure all lice and nits have been removed. Manual removal of lice is the best option when treatment has failed.
