Answer to Question 1

Correct Answer: 2
After the biopsy, if the percutaneous route was used, apply pressure to the site for about 20 min to prevent bleeding. The patient needed to take nothing by mouth for 8 to 12 hours before the procedure and not after. Oral fluid intake should be increased after the procedure. The patient should be instructed to report changes in urine output to the healthcare provider.

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 1
A normal ultrasonic bladder scan finding is less than 100 mL for a residual voiding. Volumes greater than 100 mL would not be normal after a portable ultrasonic bladder scan.
