1. Kidney failure is not the cause of cyanosis but contributes to decreased oxygenation.
2. A failing spleen will cause the client immune issues.
3. Excess fluid levels do not cause cyanosis, but, like kidney failure, can eventually impact oxygenation.
4. Red blood cells carry hemoglobin that carries oxygen to the cells. Decreased red cells can lead to decreased oxygenation and cyanosis.

1. There are no medications to reduce sneezing.
2. Sneezing is only detrimental when a client has had certain surgeries.
3. Cilia in the nares become irritated with debris, allergens, and microorganisms, and sneezing is the body's way of providing protection.
