1. An aldosterone deficit results in increased excretion of sodium and increased reabsorption of potassium.
2. Hypotension would be seen.
3. Acid-base balance is not affected.
4. Low sodium would be seen.

1. The physician is notified if the resting heart rate is over 100.
2. The client should increase fluids and eat a high-fiber diet, as the client could experience constipation.
3. The client would report unusual weight loss.
4. Antacids interfere with Synthroid.
