2. White bread is not a good source of complex carbohydrates; whole wheat bread is.
3. Whole wheat toast, milk, and pears offer high-quality complex and simple carbohydrates, and are a good choice.
4. Fried chicken is high in fat and, if coated with flour, offers very little good carbohydrate. Cookies contain sugar, which is a simple carbohydrate and not a good choice.
