Answer to Question 1

Answer: 4

1. Leukopenia is a low white blood cell count.
2. A normal eosinophil count is 1-3.
3. A normal neutrophil count is 60-70.
4. Leukocytosis is an elevated WBC.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: 3

1. A reduced WBC increases risk of infection.
2. Vitamin K, not C, is needed for clot formation.
3. A platelet count of 100,000 is lower than the norm of 150,000-450,000, putting the client at risk of bleeding secondary to decreased clotting ability.
4. The client is at risk for bleeding, not clot formation.
