1. The client is experiencing bleeding. Red blood cells are not part of the clotting cascade.
2. Monocytes are phagocytes, and do not affect the ability to clot.
3. The client who is experiencing an allergic reaction will have increased eosinophils.
4. Platelets have a role in the clotting of blood. When decreased, the client will have unusual bleeding.

1. Anemia is a reduction of the production of red blood cells. Platelets are not red blood cells, and do not cause anemia.
2. Monocytes are phagocytic white cells.
3. Anemia is a reduction of the production of red blood cells.
4. Red cells that are smaller than normal are microcytic, but do not cause anemia.
