Answer: C, D, E

HIV testing is not mandatory for obtaining care and the refusal to be tested is legal. However, a mother-to-be who knows her HIV status will have more time to decide on effective ways to protect her health and prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and to take steps to prevent passing HIV to her partner.
