Answer to Question 1

Answer: A

Hypopigmentation, also known as age spots, is a common finding on the back of the hands of an older adult. Hypopigmentation is caused by hyperplasia of melanocytes. The other findings are incorrect.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: D, E

Erythromycin is an antibacterial that interferes with bacterial DNA and protein synthesis, causing cell death. Bacitracin and Gentamycin are antibiotics that interfere with bacterial replication and synthesis and are used to treat infections.
