Answer to Question 1

Correct Answer: 4
This is a normal response because the cornea is very sensitive. When the cornea is touched, the eyelids blink and tears are produced. The cornea contains many nerve endings and this action would produce a painful sensation for the client. This is not an abnormal response. This would not be noted as a hyperactive response. This is not due to a medication side effect.

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 4
Optic tracts encircle the brain and the impulses are transmitted to the occipital lobe of the brain for interpretation.
