Answer to Question 1

Does the liberty right recognized in
the Lawrence decision dictate that we should recognize that liberty right for all of these
additional things? Which ones do you believe should be legalized? Which are ethical?
How do you distinguish the things on Scalia's list? If you think some things are unethical
but should still be legal, what reasoning can you develop to support that distinction?

What arguments would support Scalia's opinion? What arguments would
challenge it, by approving a right of one but not the other?
