Author Question: Why does the US government support illegal immigration? (Read 1137 times)

The US government is incompetent. Scared sh*tless to crack down on illegal immigration becaue every illegal in the country has more federal support than the citizen. Local, state law enforcement isn't allowed to crack down on immigration, I guess because they'd do too good of a job at it and the federal government praises illegal immigration. So why are there immigration laws? Why does the US government wanna flood the US with illegals and make citizens second class? I hate the federal government. I really hate them.

The US government has "turned a blind eye" to illegal immigration since Reagan's first term, when he figured out that if corporations could pay $4/hour to illegals in construction, hospitality, manufacturing & agriculture, then companies in those fields could be FAR more profitable yet STILL pass along low, low prices to legal American consumers....and subsequently, real inflation pretty much vanished from the US economy...

What you are lobbying for (though you apparently have not thought it through!), is MASSIVE increases in the prices you pay for all foods, services & manufactured goods!

(Had you never wondered why your standard of living was so good in spite of the reality that American workers' productivity is so lousy compared with the rest of the world?)

Before you hate do a little homework, we deport hundreds of thousand of illegals each year.
There is no support for illegals. It is a federal, not state or local job to round up and deport illegals.
Local officials have enough to do, and they aren't looking to take on more. If one comes their way, they are deported.

You can't tell who is illegal or not simply by looking or listening to them, many Hispanics live in Hispanic neighborhoods and never really need to learn English properly.
That doesn't make them illegal.

1.) Illegal immigration has gone one since the 1890s.
2.) It has been part of the underground economy since then.
3.) The GOP raised as an issue to divert attention from the Iraq war in 2006.
4.) Real stupid people have been whining about it ever since.
5.) There are probably 250 more important things to wring our hands about than that.
