now that the collapse of the american economy at the hands of free market economists seems to bring the world into a panicked downturn, will all the smug wankers who say that the collapse of soviet russia proved marxism cant work also admit that capitalism cant work?

Capitalism left un regulated is equally as bad. Capitalism regulated is better.

Unrestrained Capitalism does not work.  Communism was created from the abuses of unrestrained Capitalism.

Properly regulated Capitalism that is held to rule of law by oversight is the most productive system that benefits the most people.  It removes the need for Communism.

The market is up over 200 points as of 11:54 AM. Seems to me the economy is not collapsing. Collapsing economies do have their markets spike upwards. If you're such a defender of communism, please leave the US and go to the island paradise of Cuba, where you can live in government housing, have a government sponsored job, and get treated with government health care. Maybe you'll pass some Cubans on a raft over there and you can ask them why they're leaving Cuba.

< seems to bring the world into a panicked downturn >

Don't you think that statement is a contradiction? Why would Socialist or Communist governments also be included in this debacle? You would think they would be isolated. Capitalism is the best economic system when greed is not in the way. Unfortunately greed exists regardless of what system you live under. That's why we have regulation. Regulation is a necessary evil due to the greed of man whether it's the banker/broker or the guy buying a house he knows is way too expensive relative to his income. Ignorance is not an excuse for someone who claims he didn't know. Shame on him.

In a little over 230 years and still arguably the best society on earth - survived two world wars, numerous conflicts, a devastating Civil War, horrendous civil rights confrontations and the Great Depression - and because we are experiencing another economic crisis, you're ready to throw in the towel?
I'm glad that wasn't the general consensus during our past difficulties.

Capitalism is having a policy of lying about everything. Then there is all-lying news stories in capitalist countries.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons that are paying the business loans of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.
