Explanation: A my/o/cardi/al infarction is a heart attack. When a portion of the heart muscle has lost its blood flow, tissue death results. This may subsequently lead to a/rrhythm/ia, abnormal contraction, or cardiac arrest, where the heart completely ceases to contract. Congestive heart failure is a chronic disease.
