Answer to Question 1

The male urethra is approximately 20 cm long and is divided into three sections: prostatic, membranous, and penile. It conveys both urine and semen. The female urethra is approximately 3 cm long. The urinary meatus is situated between the clitoris and the opening for the vagina. It conveys only urine.
