Answer to Question 1

ANS: F
The definition of person in ethics is a contentious matter. Even philosophers who believe that all human beings are persons would probably not suggest that member of the species homo sapiens is a good definition of person, since there could be intelligent aliens who are persons even though they are not members of homo sapiens.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F
Suicide involves an intentional decision to die. A person who accidentally causes her own death has not committed suicide.
