Type I-Tympanic membrane, which includes graft or cauterization (for all types)
Type II-Tympanic membrane and malleus
Type III-Tympanic membrane, malleus, and incus
Type IV-Tympanic membrane, malleus, incus, and stapes
Type V-Same as Type IV but footplate of stapes included as well
