He advised her to control her blood sugar as much as possible and to take her blood pressure every day and include the results in her diabetes log. Keeping her blood pressure under control is exceedingly important. She was also told to continue the ace inhibitor and that adjustments would be made if her BP goes up. She was also advised to limit her protein and salt intake and to avoid ibuprofen and aspirin.
