Answer: MCOs want their policyholders to be satisfied with the care they are receiving from physicians within the network. With criticism of managed care, MCOs want to be able to communicate positive outcomes.

Answer: Because of rising costs, business values such as efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory management, competition, and profit are influencing healthcare delivery.
