Answer to Question 1

Transmural means through the wall. A transmural incision for myomectomy describes an incision through the full thickness of the uterine wall in order to remove a fibroid. Due to concerns of uterine rupture during contractions, patients with a history of transmural incisions are typically induced before going into labor and are delivered by cesarean.

Answer to Question 2

Use arabic numbers to report the Apgar score and spell out the minutes (eg, Apgar scores were 7 at one minute and 10 at five minutes.).
