Answer to Question 1

A sunrise view is a lateral view taken with the knee flexed. When viewed from this angle, the patella appears similar to the sun rising over the horizon formed by the subpatellar space.

Answer to Question 2

Intermedullary would imply that the nail (rod) was inserted between two medullary spaces. The nail is placed within a single medullary space, so it is an intramedullary nail.
