Patient is 26-year-old pregnant woman who has been admitted to the Well-Health Critical Care ward for management and treatment of diagnosed HELLP syndrome at 28 weeks gestation.
 
  On the second day of admission, patient complained of right upper quadrant pain and developed pitting edema and neck pain associated with right upper quadrant pain. Patient began expressing difficulty breathing and then developed adult respiratory distress with concomitant decrease in fetal movements. Obstetrics noted decreased fetal heart rate. A detailed history was collected, detailed physical examination performed, and complexity of medical decision making was high during this subsequent inpatient visit. Emergency C-section recommended.
