A varicocele is a collection of dilated and tortuous veins in the plexus surrounding the spermatic cord in the scrotum.
 
  When planning education for the family on this particular disorder, it is important to include information, such as the fact that varicoceles can: 1. Have increased incidence infertility.
   2. Cause pain or feeling of fullness in the scrotum.
