Answer to Question 1

D, A, E, C, B
In cystic fibrosis, the bronchioles become clogged with mucus, which results in obstruction of the bronchioles. Obstructive emphysema results as air gets trapped in the alveoli. Atelectasis occurs as small areas of the lungs collapse, which leads to hypertrophy of the right ventricle from overwork.

It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.

The main cause of diverticular disease is a low-fiber diet.
