The nurse would not want to discuss any interaction with the other parents. This would violate privacy. The child should be encouraged to participate in organized activities. If both parties are willing, it would be helpful for both sets of parents to discuss the situation and attempt resolution. Teaching the child to handle future situations will empower the child and possibly prevent bullying in the future.
