How is the following term defined in the first sentence?
 
  Success is not simply winning or being on top. Success is finishing when you didn't think you could. Success is improving at what you do. Success is surpassing what you thought you were capable of. So, don't let anyone tell you that you can't be a successful team if you aren't in first place because success means much more than that, and only true champions know it
