A public health nurse, along with a student, is visiting the home of an elderly woman who is widowed and lives alone.
 
  Her 40-year-old son is her caregiver, and the public health nurses visit about once a week to follow up on her high blood pressure, recent surgery for a hip fracture, and diabetes. The nurse and student find the home unkept, sink full of dirty dishes, and the patient in clothes that are extremely soiled. She cannot reach her walker to get up, and she has been incontinent. This type of abuse is called: 1. Neglect.
  2. Abandonment.
  3. Physical abuse.
  4. Financial abuse.
