Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
An Apgar score between 7 and 10 indicates that the infant scored as high as 70 to 90 of all infants at 1 and 5 minutes after birth and is adjusting well to extrauterine life. A score of 4 to 6 indicates a guarded condition, and the newborn may need clearing of the airway and supplementary oxygen. A score <4 system.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
In both female and male infants, the breasts may be engorged because of the influence of maternal hormones during pregnancy. At times, the breasts of newborn babies secrete a thin, watery fluid termed witch's milk. As soon as the hormones are cleared from the infant's system in about a week, the engorgement and any fluid that is present will subside. The discharge from the baby's breasts is not caused by exposure to cold air. The baby does not need chromosomal studies nor is this a sign that the baby has a pituitary tumor.
