There are only three documented or positive signs of pregnancydemonstrat ion of a fetal heart separate from the mother's, fetal movements felt by an examiner, and visualization of the fetus by ultrasound. Painful breast tissue is a presumptive sign of pregnancy. A positive pregnancy test is a probably sign of pregnancy.
