Answer to Question 1

A, B, D
Characteristic adolescent mother child-rearing practices have been identified, including in-sensitivity to newborn behavioral cues, limited nonverbal interaction, lack of knowledge of child development, preference for aggressive behavior and physical punishment, and limited learning in their home environment. Adolescent mothers tend to be at risk for nonnurturing behaviors, particularly in areas of inappropriate expectations. Adolescent mothers may need referrals to agencies or professionals to help them develop coping skills and adapt to the pa-renting role.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
For the classification of ASC-US, the client would have a repeat Pap smear in 4 to 6 months or be referred for a colposcopy. A referral for colposcopy with HPV testing is indicated if the results indicated ASC-H classification. An immediate colposcopy would be indicated for atypical glandular cells and adenocarcinoma in situ. A cone biopsy would be used to evaluate the lesion and may be used as treatment to remove any precancers and very early cancers.

Rare fungal infections, once accurately diagnosed, may require surgical debridement, immunotherapy, and newer antifungals used singly or in combination with older antifungals, on a case-by-case basis.
