activities of daily living. Reactive airway disease (asthma), cerebral palsy,
diabetes mellitus, and HIV are all chronic illnesses that may occur during
childhood.
Incorrect RSV is a virus that is highly contagious and causes bronchiolitis and
pneumonia in children. It does not cause chronic illness.
