Answer to Question 1

C
Response:
Providing reassurance and support to a victim of abuse is key if the violence is to end. Appropriate actions can help victims express their thoughts and feelings in constructive ways and strengthen their control over their lives. Although interventions related to personal appearance and creativity can enhance the woman's self-esteem, they are not helpful in dealing with the abuse. Planning nutritious meals helps to promote a healthy lifestyle but is ineffective in dealing with the abuse.

Answer to Question 2

B
Response:
Children with normal motor development are able to push toys with wheels at 24 months of age. Children won't be ready to undress themselves, unscrew a jar lid, or bend over without falling until about 36 months of age.
