The fetal heart rate must be assessed immediately after the rupture of the membranes to de-termine whether cord prolapse or compression has occurred.
This is important, but not the top priority.
This is important for client comfort, but it is not the top priority.
This is not a top priority for this client.

The midwife is qualified to deliver infants vaginally in uncomplicated pregnancies. Procedures in a, b, and d must be performed by a physician.
