A
Decreasing the woman's activity level may alleviate the bleeding and allow the pregnancy to continue.
Ritodrine is not the first drug of choice for tocolytic medications.
There is no reason for having the woman NPO. At times dehydration may produce contrac-tions, so hydration is important.
Demerol will not decrease the contractions. It may mask the severity of the contractions.
