Put the steps of nasal bulb suctioning for the newborn in the correct order from first to last. Put a comma and space between each answer choice (a, b, c, d, etc.)
 
  a. Clean bulb syringe.
  b. Release pressure.
  c. Insert narrow portion into nose.
  d. Compress ball of bulb syringe.
  e. Remove and empty into receptacle.

First the ball of the bulb syringe is compressed, and then the narrow portion is inserted into the nose. The pressure is released, and the syringe is removed and emptied into the receptacle. The bulb syringe is cleaned and stored at the end of the procedure.
