Answer to Question 1

The market research process begins with the marketer defining the research problem. Typically, the researcher will attempt to answer his/her questions with secondary data that are available. If such data are not available or do not answer the questions, then a primary data collection approach is designedtypically in the form of a survey. Data are then collected and, analyzed, and the results of the study are communicated via a report, presentation, white paper, etc.
