Answer to Question 1

a

Answer to Question 2

Continuous schedules have fairly regular ad exposure. The schedule is not always perfectly predictable. Some examples are McDonald's with TV and billboard ads. If you drive down a highway, you will most certainly see an ad for McDonald's at some point.
Occasional schedules are like continuous schedules, but they occur less often. Occasional schedules are also called fighting or pulsing. An occasional schedule should run with purchase cycles, and an example is advertising school supplies. A company that makes pencils and notebooks would be smart to advertise more at the beginning of a school year and before a new semester.
Seasonal ads are the most infrequent type of ad. They run before a season for a product. For example, ads for fall clothes would typically be run in late summer, not early winter.
